TPCA PTO

Welcome, Parents!

Every parent at Twin Peaks is part of our PTO. We hope you'll chose a time to stop by and help out as we work together to put on fun events like the pool party and vital fundraisers like the Trot. Come for a meeting or a project session or browse a sign-up sheet below. Here's what's coming up:

Timberwolf Trot Meeting: Tuesday, August 27, 8 a.m. in the West campus conference room. Help plan TPCA's biggest fundraiser of the year. Share ideas or just come to find out more about the event. We need lots of volunteers to make this vital fundraiser a success!

After Hours PTO meeting: Thursday September 5th, 5-6 p.m. in the ECMC. Can't make a meeting at 3:15? Here's your chance to ask questions, make suggestions, get involved and get to know other parents. Drop in any time between 5 & 6 and then if you like, stay for the monthly TPCA Board of Directors meeting that begins at 6 p.m.

Ongoing Fundraisers

Boxtops

Boxtops add up and with our boxtops money we are able to earn books for the school library and sports equipment for classes to use at recess!

Milk caps for Moo-La

Bring your Longmont Dairy milk caps to the school offices so we can earn money for our school!

King Soopers Rewards Program ** NEW & improved **

If you have a King Soopers loyalty card you can earn money for TPCA every time you shop. You no longer need to load a gift card to support the school, you only need a "Sooper Card."

It's Sooper easy! Take 5 seconds to start earning money for Twin Peaks:

  1. Login to your account at kingsoopers.com or citymarket.com.
  2. Click on "Community Rewards" and type in HX413 (or search for Twin Peaks Charter Academy)
  3. Click enroll. Done!

The best part of the new program is that you can watch your donations to the school add up. King Sooper's donates 5% of your purchases every time you scan your loyalty card! Thank you for supporting TPCA while you shop!

PTO FAQ

How do I get involved?

There's something for everyone! Every parent can and should have a hand in making this a great year for all our students. Sign up to receive email updates, join the parent Facebook group, click on a sign-up link above, attend a monthly meeting, or email us for more info or to share your ideas.

What are the funds used for?

With the funds we raise, the PTO is able to provide free events throughout the year to promote school community. Additionally, money raised through the Trot and Silent Auction cover the cost of field trip transportation and help us reimburse teachers for some classroom supplies.

Why should I track my volunteer hours?

All volunteers will be entered in a monthly drawing for gift cards or other prizes! We also like to show how involved our parents and guardians are in our school.
